COVID-19 Update - June 11, 2020

Greetings Good Friends,
We thought it would be good to update you all on the news from the Provincial government this week and how it relates to our re-entry to Church services at Good Friends.
The health and safety guidelines given June 8th are as follows;  we are able to have services of up to 30% capacity.  This is effective as of Friday June 12th.  We are very excited at the prospects of gathering together again for prayer and worship but need to make sure we are all as much on the same page as we can be in relation to re-opening.  Good Fiends will not be able to open  the doors this Sunday to the public and I will share with you a part of the ‘why?’
The first thing I would like to bring to your attention is that we will be beginning our building renovations this Thursday June 11th.  With the Church being an open construction site we will not be able to invite everyone to come back this Sunday and it will take some time to make sure we have covered all concerns relating to procedures and safety with our building project and COVID-19.
The Elders along with myself have been praying and seeking Gods direction, looking at possible re-entry strategy,  we will continue to do so as we now have new information to process and will keep you updated regularly as we go.
To sum up this letter:

1. We will not have in person service for the general public this Sunday or until we announce that we are ready to          open our doors.

2. We will continue to have ‘Kids Church’ from 10-10:30am and our regular service at 10:30am.

If you have thoughts, questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting us at the Church or... drop by for a fun visit.
In Christ Jesus
